DataToolsHub: a catalogue of tools for research data management

The “Common Applicative Tools” working group within the Research Data Gouv network of Competence Centres has launched DataToolsHub, a catalogue of tools dedicated to research data management. It is aimed at researchers as well as research support staff, including data stewards, engineers, librarians and digital services teams.
The catalogue helps users find tools suited to their discipline and to each stage of the data lifecycle, from planning through to archiving and sharing. Filters by scientific field and lifecycle stage make it easier to find the right tools. Each tool is described in both French and English, with a link to its website and software repository.
DataToolsHub is a collaborative catalogue. Anyone can suggest a new tool or propose an amendment to an existing entry directly through the website, using a dedicated form.
