The data management plan: sprint or marathon?
DMP Sprint: Feedback
The Data Management Plan (DMP) is an ideal tool for controlling the data life cycle of a research project. And yet it is often perceived as an administrative document, which can be difficult, time-consuming or tedious to draw up.
Research support staff help project leaders to draw up PGDs. But how can they be trained to master a complex, multi-dimensional tool that they have yet to master in the field?
To answer these questions, the University of Poitiers and the Bordeaux URFIST have devised and tested a training model, called the “PGD sprint”, based on a non-fictional exercise, dealt with collectively and in a very short space of time.
