Corpus of journalistic cartographies on energy security published by European newspapers since the start of the war in Ukraine

This database brings together a corpus of European newspaper articles in which maps relating to energy security have been published since the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022, as well as the coding table for these maps.

Produced as part of the ANR NucTerritory project, this corpus aims to understand how European newspapers frame the debate on energy security by analysing the cartographic discourse they produce. In each country, the top 5 most consulted newspapers (online and in print), as ranked by the Reuters Institute at Oxford University, were selected. The articles were then retrieved using keyword queries.
