Processing of personal data in the context of the Visitor Registers of the Research Data Gouv repository
Purpose
Your personal data is recorded in a computerized file. The controller of this data is INRAE – 147 rue de l’Université - 75338 Paris Cedex 07 - France; Tel.: + 33 01 42 75 90 00. The purpose of collecting this data is to inform depositors of explored or downloaded datasets of the reuse of said datasets and the anonymous analysis of the reuse of datasets deposited in the Recherche Data Gouv warehouse. This is part of INRAE’s public interest mission for the Recherche Data Gouv project. The data may also be reused for scientific research purposes. The implementation of this purpose is carried out by INRAE’s Open Science Directorate (DipSO).
The processing is based on your consent when exploring or downloading files from a dataset in the Recherche Data Gouv warehouse containing a visitor register. You can learn more about the functionality in the warehouse user guides.
Data collected
The categories of data collected are:
- Identity data, namely: Name, First name
- Professional data, namely: email, affiliation, position
Dataset depositors can add personalized questions, other data in addition to the previous ones may be requested.
Recipients and transfer of data
The recipients of your data are the authorized personnel contributing to the implementation of the Recherche Data Gouv platform and the services offered there. These include members of the following organizations:
- Recherche Data Gouv, DipSO and DSI INRAE units
- Members of the Platform Resource Center, INIST CNRS
- Subcontractors: SMILE and Groupe Open
The administrators of the collections containing the datasets in question, members of higher education and/or French research.
The data is stored in France.
No transfer of data outside the European Union is carried out by Recherche Data Gouv.
A transfer of data may be carried out to a third country that does not have adequacy measures with the European Union by the administrators of the datasets concerned. In order to protect your data, appropriate guarantees have been taken, namely the presence in the general conditions of the obligation of anonymization within one year by the persons downloading any visitor register data.
This information will be kept, under the best conditions of security and confidentiality, for one year by the Recherche Data Gouv platform. At the end of this period, the personal data collected will be permanently deleted.
Rights of access, modification and deletion
In accordance with the European Regulation on the protection of personal data and the Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, oppose for legitimate reasons, limit, and delete information concerning you.
