GDsAM
GDsAM proposes the development of a service offering around research data from the Aix-Marseille University site bringing together all the operational skills and training existing on the site to develop expertise for all types of research projects ( disciplinary and interdisciplinary) at all levels of the research data life cycle.
The Workshop draws on the synergy of all existing skills on our site in the field of research data currently grouped in CEDRE (Research Data Training and Support Center), the SCD, the MMSH and the PUD (University Data Platform). Furthermore, our University has editorial expertise in open publishing, through the supervision of OpenEdition, which will contribute to the entire system. Finally, some of these actors will ensure the articulation of the system with large research equipment (HUMA-NUM, etc.). GDsAM is also being built in partnership with the CNRS and the CEA.
Multidisciplinary by nature, our workshop promotes the development of interdisciplinary skills around research data, based on FAIR methods and practices by relying on players already offering training and data support services. In addition, CEDRE (program 2 of the IDeAL project, Integration and Development in Aix-Marseille through Training, winner of the AAP IDeES of the PIA3) which is based on an Equipex-labeled data center infrastructure and a labeled mesocenter will deploy new services processing large volumes of data.
GDsAM thus contributes to developing an interdisciplinary data culture with a strong link between research, development and training activities and is aimed at all research data producers on the Aix-Marseille site.
