It is recommended to upload files no larger than 100 GB, even though the maximum limit is set at 2 TB.

Automated moderation (discipline-specific required metadata fields, REMBI schema).

Viability

Established in 2019, funded by UKRI and EMBL-EBI. Additional funding: BBSRC, Wellcome Trust, MRC, Global BioImaging, Euro-BioImaging, Horizon 2020. No storage duration limit.

Notes

For sensitive medical data that may be published with patient consent, the EGA (European Genome-Phenome Archive) is recommended. Embargo: 3 months maximum.
