Morphosource has a procedure for reviewing and revising submissions, managed by the administrator. The types of accepted data formats and minimum metadata requirements are defined to ensure that all data is interpretable and readable. Viability

Repository established in 2013. All data will be retained for as long as the repository remains operational. Morphosource is currently establishing mechanisms for the transfer of governance and long-term community support to ensure the repository’s sustainability. There are also plans to establish a network of repositories to enable data transfer in the event that one of the infrastructures closes.
