Repository provided moderation

Human moderation by the Pangloss collection team (verification of data and metadata, accuracy of the description, standardization and enrichment of the description through alignment with reference standards). Communication to request additional information if needed.

Viability

Hosted on the Cocoon platform, with data hosted on Huma-Num servers. Data is deposited with CINES (under the auspices of Huma-Num) and eventually transferred to the National Archives.

Notes

Embargo: Restricted access may be granted for certain resources upon providing a reason (for a period of 10, 50, or even 100 years in the case of sensitive data). Deposit: log in as a professional to get more information on the deposit process and requirements (spreadsheet template, etc.). Compliance with the OLAC model for archiving. History: the project was launched in 1995 before being integrated into the Cocoon platform starting in 2006.
