In existence since 1972. An international benchmark in its field. CoreTrustSeal certified in 2019, renewal obtained in 2024.

Notes

Embargo: No embargo other than the standard one-year embargo for data produced by the observatories. Identifiers: discipline-specific identifiers: catalog numbers for catalogs, sky survey identifiers for image collections. For several years now, the CDS has been attempting to also assign a DOI to each of these resources
