A review of the construction of the Atelier de la Donnée en Normandie (ADN)

Updated at: 20/02/2024

Couperin's Working Group on Data spoke to Anthony Moalic, head of the Normandy data management cluster, about the construction of this new service and its development within the region: "Positioned within the Open Science governance of the ComUE Normandie Université, the Atelier de la donnée Normandie offers shared training and local support throughout Normandy. Launched at the beginning of 2022 and accredited in September 2023, it will gradually expand its service offer, federating the skills of several institutions, with operational coordination by the University of Caen Normandie".

The data management clusters are an essential component of the Recherche Data Gouv ecosystem, dedicated to providing generalist, local support for scientific communities throughout the data lifecycle.

Other interviews with data management clusters will follow this first episode, as well as feedback from thematic reference centers, another essential component of the ecosystem, as part of the partnership between Recherche Data Gouv and GTSO Données.
