Do curation in the Recherche Data Gouv repository!

Many of you have asked us to create a virtual class on the practice of curation in the Recherche Data Gouv repository.

This virtual class will provide you with best practices for curating the collections for which you are responsible.

Curation is the process by which administrators and curators check metadata quality of submitted datasets, in line with FAIR principles. This workshop requires active participation and covers the following points:

• Objectives of curation
• How to check the general metadata
• Practical applications

At the end of this two-hour virtual class, you will be able to:

• fully understand the challenges of curation in the context of opening research data,
• to better support your colleagues in using the repository,
• to carry out the necessary checks on the metadata and files of the games deposited in your collection.
