The Recherche Data Gouv Centre-Val de Loire Data Management Cluster (ADCVL) was inaugurated on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at the MSH Val de Loire in Tours, thus anchoring its entry into the ecosystem.

This was an opportunity to celebrate the launch of the new support and training service for the publication and sharing of research data, opened last November, for researchers in the Centre-Val de Loire region.

After a presentation of the ADCVL and its services, Isabelle Blanc (Ministerial Administrator of Data, Algorithms and Source Codes, Ministry of Higher Education and Research) presented the national policy of data, algorithms and source codes and actions in favor of the opening and sharing of research data.

Following this overview, members of other modules of the Recherche Data Gouv ecosystem, namely thematic reference centers (Data Terra / PNDB for earth sciences and Huma-Num for human and social sciences) and resource centers (Research Data Gouv repository-catalog, OPIDoR and DoRANum), demonstrated the benefits of such a network of support offers, both general and thematic

This study day ended with an overview of the international EOSC and RDA France infrastructures.

The second part gave the ADCVL partners the opportunity to share their perspectives and highlight their collaborations. The evening concluded with a cocktail, providing a convivial moment conducive to discussion.
