What legal and ethical approaches for your research project?
In which situations should the consent of research participants be sought? When and how to do it? Do I need to consult an ethics committee? A committee for the protection of individuals?... All these questions are frequently raised by scientific teams working on a new research project.
The ARDoISE data cluster in Rennes and the Research Ethics Board of Rennes 2 University collaborated with the DoRANum resource centre to design a set of interactive flowcharts (in french). They are simple and quick to use, helping to answer the main questions and thus anticipating the ethical and legal procedures to be initiated.
> A version of the "flat" flowcharts (PDF) is in preparation (in french).
Throughout your project, the data management clusters are at your disposal to support you in taking into account the legal framework of research data.
