French Electoral Survey 2017 (EnEF 2017)
This monitoring and measurement system analyzes the changes in the French electorate and their reactions to political, social, and economic events through 20 waves, from the eve of the 2015 regional elections until the day after the 2017 legislative elections. It allows for detailed analyses at the national and regional levels to capture the changes in opinion linked to the specific context of the pre-electoral, electoral, and post-electoral periods. It provides a series of indicators and measures on the trends of the French electorate, their political values, their partisan preferences, and their relationship with voting and candidates. The survey details the psychological mechanisms of electoral decision-making in light of the values of the French and the political, geographical, and socio-economic contexts. It also highlights the connection between the national and local levels in the characteristics of opinion. Finally, the reception of the topics included in the political agenda by the candidates is an important dimension, particularly during the campaign period (Primaries, presidential election, legislative elections).
