Updated at: 09/08/2024
Administrator of an institutional space: Any person who manages an institutional space or collection on the Recherche Data Gouv platform and the associated rights. S/he is responsible for ensuring compliance with the administrators' charter within that space.
Administrators of an institutional space undertake to:
- Ensure compliance with the rules set out in the General Terms and Conditions of the Recherche Data Gouv Repository-Registry;
- Ensure that curation in the institutional space and its collections is carried out in compliance with the Recherche Data Gouv platform's requirements regarding CoreTrustSeal certification and in compliance with the curators' charter;
- Make sure datasets do not remain unpublished after 12 months to avoid the platform being used as space for a storage rather than for sharing research data;
- Organise the institutional space and collaborate with joint supervisory authorities in the case of shared collections;
- Ensure that each collection in the institutional space has at least one administrator affiliated to the institution concerned;
- Ensure that visitors' logs do not collect any other personal information than the name and e-mail address;
- Ensure that the administrators of the collections in the institutional space comply with this charter;
- Support and train the administrators and curators of the collections in the institutional space;
- Work as part of the administrators' community on the Recherche Data Gouv platform to improve its quality and functioning.
